We wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who made Twilight at Tanglewood such an amazing event! We couldn’t have done it without our vendors, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who showed up to have a good time. Upcoming Events

  • Winter Wiggles: This free pre-K program runs November-March, on the first  Wednesday morning of each month from 10am-10:45am. Each program will include a story for the kids with an up-close-and-personal animal guest. No RSVP is needed. Masks will be required for ages 3 and up.
  • Last Tuesday drop in: This program runs November-March and will be held on the last Tuesday of each month from 10am-11am. This program is geared for ages 5 and up. Perfect for homeschooling families but open to anyone! topics coming soon! Check our website for more updates.

What we’re exploring this week:

  • Even though crocodiles have the strongest bite in nature, mothers are very delicate and gentle with their young. Mother crocodiles and alligators will transport their babies using their mouths. Check out this incredible up-close footage! Crocodile Mom Scoops Up Babies in Mouth

Reminder! Dogs are allowed at Personius Woods, but NOT on the trails by the nature center. We are preserving ground-nesting bird habitats and appreciate your cooperation. We encourage you to hike with your dogs along the streams, fields, and forests at Personius.
