The Arc of Steuben Names Joe Sherman, Sally Share, Sam Bradshaw, and Tammy Dowdle as Associate of the Month
BATH | Joe Sherman, Direct Support Professional (DSP); Sally Share, Human Resource Business Partner; Samantha Bradshaw, DSP; and Tammy Dowdle, DSP were named Associate of the Month.
Joe was nominated by Rosemary Bennett, Program Coordinator, for always being positive and focused his tasks well. Rosemary said, “He always tries his best and has a wonderful sense of humor.” Joe gets the residents up, helps them get breakfast, shower and get dressed, cleans the house, and much more. “I have never heard Joe say
an unkind word about anyone or complain no matter what is going on at work,” said Rosemary.Sally Share was nominated by Jonathan Stromsness.
Sally was recently hired in the HR department, taking on the hiring process with a great attitude and a positive approach. Sally is extremely flexible and willing to seek out answers she doesn’t have. “She is always a pleasure to communicate with and can be relied upon to follow through on her commitments and always fulfills the expectations she sets forth,” said Jonathan.
Samantha Bradshaw was nominated by Bona Elliott, Residence Manager, for being a dedicated employee. Sam picks up extra shifts when needed and doesn’t say no to anything asked of her. “The team knows when all else fails, they can rely on Sam to help out,” said Bona.
Tammy Dowdle was also nominated by Bona Elliott. Tammy has been with the agency for just over a year. Tammy picks up extra shifts, comes in early, and stays late to ensure the needs of the home are met. Tammy also took the initiative to start in inventory of food and supplies items when we began to get items in bulk. Bona said “Tammy has been helpful is so many ways.”
