The Dormann Library is celebrating Youth Art Month in style! On Monday, March 7th, youth (ages 5-8) can stop in between 3:00pm and 4:00pm and make their own “No Sew Very Hungry Caterpillar” to take home.

If you don’t have the time to hang out at the library, then your best bet is to stop in on Thursday, March 10 and pick up a Grab & Go Craft Kit. The kits that will be available are for both youth and tweens (ages 5 – 12). You will be given all you need to decorate a flower pot, dirt to put in it, and seeds to plant! One kit per kid please, while supplies last.

The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) at the Dormann Library will be meeting on Saturday, March 12 from 11:00am to noon to talk about upcoming programs and volunteer opportunities. After we talk business, we will learn a new art technique, Packing Tape Transfers. We will use this technique to create some bookmarks to share.

We appreciate pre-registration for in-person craft programs. You can register by calling the library at 607-776-4613, contacting us through Facebook, or by stopping in at the library to sign up.
