Historic Downtown Tour
Monday, July 12 10:30am
Join us for the Historic Downtown Tour. This popular 50-minute stroll takes place on level sidewalks and is a great introduction to local history and historic events in downtown Elmira. Join us as we share more than 17 stories from CCHS’s weekly blogposts along the way. Good for locals or out of town guests.
Tickets are $3 for members and $8 for nonmembers and include admission to the museum. Tours are first come, first reserved, and space is limited, so we recommend reservations. Call 607-734-4167 or click here to reserve your spot.
All in a Day’s Work: Dressed for Success
If you were a nanny in 1850, what would you wear to work? What if you were a doctor in 1928? All in a Day’s Work: Dressed for Success explores the official and unofficial uniforms people wore on the job and how they changed over time. This new exhibit features historic clothing and photographs from the mid-1800s through the late 1900s.
