Since October is Breast Cancer awareness month, a Mammogram screening day sponsored by Cancer Services Program will be held at the Women’s Imaging Center in Hornell on Saturday Oct. 24, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Donations of new or gently used blankets will be accepted at several locations in Steuben County. Blankets will be donated to local charities.

Positive Solutions for Families – a six session evidenced based training to promote children’s social and emotional skills, understand their problem behaviors, and use positive approaches to help children learn appropriate behavior. These sessions will give parents general information on key strategies that may be used with all children.
